Adult Social Care – Social services would carry out financial and needs assessment

NHS Continuing Health Care (CHC) – Social services and clinical health team would carry out assessments to determine if you have health related needs.

Personal Health Budget – Funding from the NHS to support you with healthcare needs

Benefit Entitlements – Disability allowance, personal independence payment (PIP), attendance allowance, pension creditsand universal credits.

Contributions to Care – if your assets (includes savings, joint savings and investments) exceed the current threshold; your local authority will consider that you are able to fund your care and support. The value of your home in which you are residing in, is not included in this means test if you are being assessed for homecare funding.
